Non-duality (Advaita) means "Not Two".
It points to the
Oneness at the Heart of all things.
But it's not a "state" to be reached,
not something that some individuals "have" and others don't.
It's more like
awakening from a dream, and realizing, with crystal clarity,
that it was only ever a dream.
Like being a newborn baby again. Present. Open. Uncontaminated.
Seeing with fresh eyes. Seeing for the first time....

Jeff Foster, a UK teacher of non-duality, clearly and without compromise points to the spiritual freedom, liberation and enlightenment that is always fully present, right in the midst of Life, but is apparently ignored by the seeking, suffering mind in its desperate, lifelong quest for "something more". This is not a new message: it has been pointed at throughout the ages, in all the world's major spiritual/wisdom traditions: Advaita (Non-duality), Sufism, Zen, Dzogchen, Gnostic Christianity...

The simple and direct message (which Jeff calls Life Without A Centre) is this: there is only Oneness. And in Oneness, the dream of separation arises, the idea that you are a "person in the world", with a heavy past and an uncertain future, separate from everyone and everything else. And in this dream there can be great suffering, because to a separate person, life will never seems complete, and a longing for Home will pervade all action.

And Life Without A Centre, well, it's about waking up from that dream. And it's an "awakening" that's simpler and gentler than you could ever imagine. This radical message lovingly allows all spiritual paths to have their place, whilst at the same time making them completely obsolete. And this may feel very threatening to a mind hooked on ideas of paths, processes and perfection. But in the presence of this revolutionary clarity, the endless seeking of the mind cannot last. And then, in the place of striving, suffering, and solidity, there is only ever lightness, love... and so much laughter

This rare, revolutionary message points to nothing less than absolute freedom, right here, right now. Welcome to the end of the spiritual search.

In the non-duality meetings, Jeff will talk clearly and directly about non-duality and the search for spiritual enlightenment, and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. In a playful and relaxed atmosphere of absolute and unconditional acceptance, there can be an energetic resonance which is beyond all words, beyond all concepts, beyond all thoughts, beyond time itself...

It is a direct confrontation with your own absence... an absence which is finally revealed as a perfect Presence, a Life Without A Centre. And in this clear seeing, in this Openness, in the space where a solid "person" used to be - beyond mind, beyond thought, beyond effort - there is now only ease, only lightness, only simplicity and spontaneity. Only a life living itself, effortlessly.

Jeff Foster graduated in Astrophysics from Cambridge University in 2001. Several years after graduation, following a period of severe depression and illness, he became addicted to the idea of "spiritual enlightenment," and embarked on an intensive spiritual search which lasted for several years. The spiritual search came to an absolute end with the clear seeing that there is only ever Oneness. In the clarity of this seeing, life became what it always was: spontaneous, clear, joyful and fully alive, and Jeff began to write and talk about "non-duality" (which he often calls "the utterly, utterly obvious"). He holds meetings and retreats in the UK and Europe, clearly and directly pointing to the frustrations surrounding the spiritual search, to the nature of mind, and to the Clarity at the heart of everything. His uncompromising approach, full of humor and compassion, shatters the mind's hopes for a future awakening, revealing the awakening that is always already present, right in the midst of life.
